The Urban forest Council of Washington, D.C. is a non-profit corporation
comprised of member organizations civic associations, community
groups, ecology professionals, local and federal government agencies
and the private sector working together to promote urban forestry
and environmental stewardship in the Nation's Capital. Benefits

The Board of Directors of the Urban Forest Council is committed
to maintaining a broad- based representation of citizens in the
District of Columbia, where residents of all socioeconomic and cultural
backgrounds can participate in forestry and environmental programs
that benefit not only their respective communities, but the District
of Columbia.
